A member in the lab attended a conference at the AOGS World Congress held in Singapore.

From July 30th to August 5th, 2023, Kido, who is M2 student, participated in the AOGS (Asia Oceania Geosciences Society) conference in Singapore.

AOGS is a conference focused on Earth sciences in the Asia-Pacific region, covering various fields like hydrology, atmospheric science, oceanography, and planetary science.

She presented a poster at the conference, and although She found it challenging to express herself fluently in English, the international attendees were very supportive and appreciative of her efforts. It was truly heartening to receive their kind words.

In addition to the conference, She made sure to explore the beautiful city of Singapore. Personally, she was delighted to visit many of the filming locations from the Detective Conan movies, making it a memorable experience for me.

She is motivated to work hard in her research so that she can continue participating in international conferences like AOGS in the future.
