On March 23, 2025, the degree conferral ceremony was held.
From the Hydraulic Engineering Laboratory, five students completed the Master’s Program and seven graduated from the undergraduate program.

At the celebration held after the ceremony, we had many final conversations with those who will be leaving the lab to start their careers.
Spending time with everyone has been so much fun, and I was once again reminded of how irreplaceable our life in the lab has been.

In the evening, we held a farewell party with all lab members, and gave heartfelt gifts to each departing student. I believe everyone was happy to receive them.
As a surprise, we also presented flowers and a commemorative gift to Professor Uchida, who will assume the position of professor starting next academic year.

At the end of the party, when we saw Professor Uchida with tears in his eyes, it truly hit us that our friends in the employment group were about to leave the lab and move on to the next stage of their lives.
